How restful it is to to dream of castles in the sky. For those of us who are lucky enough to live beside the sea, one of the best moments of the day is when you go to the water’s edge and look at the horizon and see what I call ‘the edge of the planet’. It is very restful on your eyes and good for your soul.

Looking west from Carrowteige towards Erris Head and out over the big ocean, you definitely feel you are looking at the edge of the planet. If you are from a seaside place and are now living inland, I can recommend this picture to you.
